Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die maker who previously worked as a worker for an industrial company. Three siblings are hers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted as a child and began in second grade at the age of five. In 1975 Stone graduated from Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone win Miss Crawford County. Stone together with her Aunt in 1977, made the move to New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week further. Soon after, Stone relocated to Europe and spent an entire year in Milan and Paris. Stone, disillusioned at the world of model within Europe decided to take up acting as she lived in Europe. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews when she was 20.
