Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd was able to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via unanimity to create an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill as she was able to end her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. In her last fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a ground-and-- - pounded her for the TKO victory in the 2nd round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she's had in a major way. Ladd was the winner of the night's main event fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. For a replacement last minute to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously against her.
